December 18, 2024
Québec City – The APTS (Alliance du personnel professionnel et technique de la santé et des services sociaux) is proud to announce that the members it represents at the Institut national de santé publique du Québec (INSPQ) voted 97% in favour of a tentative deal, ending a long period of bargaining with their employer.
“This deal is the result of more than 10 months of intensive, sometimes difficult, talks,” said William Molon-Noblot, APTS local executive president at the INSPQ. “We stood firm to get what our members deserve. This is a giant step toward equity with the health and social services system.”
The deal includes a 17.4% pay raise over five years, guaranteeing parity with the health and social services system. This improvement in working conditions recognizes the expertise and dedication of APTS members.
“This result proves that by remaining united and determined, we can achieve ambitious objectives for our members,” said William Molon-Noblot. “I would like to thank everyone who was part of this process, as well as our members for their tireless support during bargaining.”
This deal is an important step for the APTS in the Capitale-Nationale and for its members who work at the INSPQ, strengthening their position in the public health system.
