Letter or agreement no35 - On updating lists of institutions and facilities covered by article 22, appendix 6 and appendix 8 of the collective agreement

Within thirty (30) days of the collective agreement coming into force, the parties will set up a provincial working committee on updating lists of facilities covered by Article 22, Appendix 6 and Appendix 8 of the collective agreement.

MANDATE

The committee is mandated:

• to review and analyze requests for updates from institutions, unions or either provincial party to the lists of institutions and facilities covered by Article 22 and Appendices 6 and 8;
• to submit recommendations to the negotiating parties according to a schedule determined by the parties.

The committee will meet within thirty (30) days of receiving a request.

The committee defines its operating procedures and establishes its work plan to reflect its mandate.

COMPOSITION

The committee consists of three (3) representatives for the employer side and three (3) representatives for the union side.

The parties may call in a resource person as needed.

This Letter of Agreement ends ninety (90) days before the collective agreement expires.
