Stop the CAQ’s anti-democratic drift! | The APTS to demonstrate in front of the National Assembly

November 12, 2025

Québec City – As the Government of Québec imposes draconian cuts on public services and tables a series of bills that undermine the rights and freedoms of Quebecers, more than 1000 members of the APTS (Alliance du personnel professionnel et technique de la santé et des services sociaux) will demonstrate in front of the National Assembly in Québec City tomorrow, November 13, starting at 11:15 a.m., to denounce the CAQ’s electorally-driven shift toward authoritarian, conservative, and anti-democratic practices.

“Québec deserves better than a government that’s lost its way and is gutting public services in a bid to get re-elected,” said APTS president Robert Comeau. “We need to put a check on its contempt for democratic principles and fundamental rights. We won’t let François Legault drag all of Québec down with him.”

APTS members will be joined for the demonstration by Christian Daigle, SFPQ president, Nadine Bédard-St-Pierre, 1st vice-president of the CSQ and Martin Trudel, 3rd vice-president of the SPGQ.
